How to Choose the Right STM32 Nucleo Board to Start With?

  • 1

I am new to STM32 development and I am unsure about which specific STM32 model would be the best fit to start learning. Can anyone provide guidance on selecting the appropriate STM32 model compatible with the NUCLEO board?

Additionally, I am interested in exploring existing projects implemented using STM32 and NUCLEO boards. Could you please suggest reliable sources or platforms where I can find such projects?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, even though I’m a beginner in the STM32 world. I’m using STM32F407VGT6, you start with STM32F446 series also. To learn I have engaged myself with Udemy. You can visit the website.

To the best of my knowledge, “FastBit Embedded Brain Academy” is the best on the site. They break down everything for you and the explanation is also great.

      Happy Learning:)

      Hi Uday,
I have been using STM32F072RB for our trainee, this board too is good to start with. Though there are wide range of Nucleo board available. If you have specific application in mind, then you should choose on that basis. Like you want to interface CAN or Ethernet, then select development board accordingly. There are wide supports/courses available for STM32 development.
      All the best!!
